The purpose of this communication plan is to define the communication methods and channels used in connection with the Virtual Friend project. Clear and consistent communication ensures the flow of information and influences the project's quality objectives.

# Project partners
|

|
## The parties to the project can be divided from the point of view of communication into three different categories:
|
|
|
|
1. Members of the project team
|
|
|
|
2. Project supervisors
|
|
|
|
3. Representatives of the Client
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
This plan creates the basis for communication between the project team and other stakeholders in the project.

# Common communication channels
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
The virtual friend project is available for communication: the phone, the WhatsApp group, Slack, the group's home page, and naturally different forms of writing and verbal communication.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
# Models used for written communication
|
|
|
|
The written communication related to the project uses the Gitlabia and JAMK reporting guidelines. The electronic recording format for documents is defined in more detail in a specific documentation plan.

|
|
|
|
|
|
# Internal communications
|
|
|
|
Unofficial channels are used for internal communication of a virtual friend project. The project team meets in the mornings with scrum, which reviews the things made the previous day and plans the tasks of the day.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
The project manager informs all the major events in the WhatsApp group.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Support for communication is also supported by the following aids:
|
|
|
|
- Slack, used to communicate with project supervisors and commissioners.
|
|
|
|
- WhatsApp, used for internal group communication.
|
|
|
|
- Blog postings to social media for the Pengwin team.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
# Communication with the sponsor's representatives
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
The primary communication channel is Slacka and secondary mail.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
In running cases, Marko Rintamäki and the project manager Rami Ojala are responsible for the assignment.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
# Communication with outsiders
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
In communication, outsiders are used by the project team's own discretion. Some of the external stakeholders (other projects, some of the department staff) have the opportunity to communicate with Slack. In addition, information is available to external stakeholders on the project team's website.

|
|
|
|
|
|
# Exceptions
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
If the project progresses with insurmountable problems that jeopardize the progress of the work, contact the Wimmalab instructor first. If necessary, the client is also informed. |
