Game Development Module
Game Development Module is divided into two courses:
- Basics of Game Development (5op)
- Game Development Project (10op)
Why should I select this course?
Interested in game industry? Do you have awesome game ideas waiting to be developed and published to the world? Do you want to learn the industry standard tools needed to start producing your game? Do you want to hear what the visitors from local game companies have to tell you about?
The Game Development optional study module is divided into two courses. This is the theory course of those two, 5 ECTS. In this course you will learn:
- Game design
- Game business & entrepreneurship
- Prototyping
- Writing a Game Design Document
- Other essential tools of game industry
- For those who haven't done the Peliohjelmointi -course there is a small introduction to Unity3D game engine
There might also be various visitors from game companies telling you about the industry, their companies and might offer you a trainee positions for example!
This course is graded PASS/FAIL. This course is also mandatory for those who take the Game Development Project course.
