US072 - As a developer I would like to get enough information about problem (recorded in bug report) so I can reproduce bugs, so that they can be quickly addressed.

As a developer, I want to receive complete and actionable bug reports, so that I can reproduce the issue efficiently and fix it with minimal delays.

Current Definition of Done

  • A standardized bug reporting template is defined and used
  • QA and support teams follow guidelines for complete report details
  • All bug reports contain steps to reproduce, actual vs. expected behavior, environment info, and logs/screenshots
  • Bug reports are accessible to developers via tracker or interface
  • Report completeness is checked automatically (or via checklist)
  • Documentation updated to explain the format of a “complete” bug report

Acceptance Criterias

  • Each bug report includes:
    • Steps to reproduce the issue
    • Actual behavior vs. expected behavior
    • Environment/configuration details (browser, OS, device, etc.)
    • Screenshots or video (if applicable)
    • Application logs or error messages
  • Reproduction of the bug is possible in local/dev/test environment based on report
  • Reports are reviewed before being assigned to developers
  • Developers can comment or request clarification within the tracking tool
  • Reports link to related test cases or previously resolved issues (if applicable)
